Pranayama (breathing techniques) is the regulation of the incoming and outgoing flow of breath with and without retention. It is the first foundation of mindfulness meditation to create a greater connection to and awareness of the rhythmic movement of the thoracic muscles. An ancient practice of controlling the breath, where one self manages the timing, duration, and frequency of every breath and hold. The purpose is to connect your body & mind and supply your body with oxygen whilst removing toxins to provide healing physiological benefits.
